A day in my life as a hybrid marketing intern at Zenblen is a mix of in-person brand activation and digital content creation. Each week, I spend one day in the office collaborating with the team and doing product sampling at assigned locations, often at DePaul University or the University of Chicago. During a typical sampling day, I give out around 65 to 80 smoothie samples while engaging directly with students, introducing them to the brand, and answering questions about our products.
In addition to fieldwork, I create at least two short-form videos each week for Instagram and TikTok that align with the company’s content calendar and branding guidelines. I also contribute to marketing plans by sharing audience insights from campus interactions, brainstorming content ideas, and supporting campaign initiatives. Through this internship, I can learn how in-person marketing and digital strategy work together to build brand awareness. It has helped me enhance my communication skills, better understand consumer behavior, and see how creative ideas translate into real marketing impact.

This semester, I have the opportunity to work as a marketing intern at Zenblen, a fast-growing smoothie brand focused on promoting convenient and healthy options for students and young professionals. My internship combines in-person engagement with digital marketing, allowing me to experience both the creative and strategic sides of brand development. Through campus activations, content creation, and marketing collaboration, I have gained hands-on experience in how companies build awareness and connect with their target audience.
